Fund managers' scourge Chris Sier spreads the word

The 'angry man' of fund management is no longer so angry, now that the transparency agenda is inclining his way

Chris Sier has stopped being angry. Instead, he is stepping up his campaign for improved cost transparency by spreading the gospel from the UK's public sector pension funds to their private counterparts - offering them a pricing template developed together with the Local Government Pension Scheme.

The importance of managers coming clean on their transaction costs was supported in a Financial Conduct Authority report on November 18.
