Church investor prepares to pile pressure on FTSE bosses

The Church of England’s investment arm has warned large UK companies that it will be stepping up its pressure on executive boards over corporate governance issues this year.

In a statement today, the Church Investors Group, which manages £17bn, said in the coming annual general meeting season it would focus its attention on the actions of FTSE 350 boards over pay, gender diversity and climate change.
