It's Citi versus Goldman as Xchanging bidding war looms

The US banks are advising rival would-be bidders on their overtures for the UK-listed outsourcing company

Advisory bankers from Citigroup and Goldman Sachs are squaring off in a looming takeover battle for Xchanging, a UK business process outsourcing company that has caught the attention of both trade and private equity buyers.

Xchanging said in a statement to the London Stock Exchange on October 5 that it has received separate approaches from Capita, a fellow outsourcing company, and Apollo Global Management, a private equity firm.
