Former UBS and Deutsche Bank man Yoven Moorooven joins bank to bolster commodities business

Citigroup has beefed up its commodities business as part of a broader set of initiatives to bolster its risk and operational framework.

The US bank has begun "enhancing its organisational structures" within the unit, according to a memo sent to staff on 16 September by global head of commodities José Cogolludo. It has hired Yoven Moorooven, who becomes global head of new business ventures, based in London.
