Citigroup has made a series of appointments to its UK commercial bank, an increasingly important business line for large investment banks as they chase smaller deals across Europe.
The US bank has promoted Bill Stanton to head of its UK commercial banking business. He replaces Catherine Pierre, who left to join JPMorgan as head of UK corporate client banking and specialised industries in July.
