It’s been a big week for promotions in the City as banks make their year-end appointments of new managing directors ahead of the Christmas break.

Citigroup named 306 new managing directors, the first class under chief executive Jane Fraser. Some 35% of those achieving one of the most coveted roles in the industry are women. See the names here.
