Citigroup has bolstered its hedge fund services capabilities making Ali Hackett head of an expanded global finance sales and prime brokerage division. He was formerly head of global futures at the bank.

The appointment is part of a reshuffle of the bank's securities financing and prime brokerage business following the departure of Mike Hiard, former global head of securities financing, earlier this year.
