Citigroup disciplined by Swedish exchange

Citigroup has been disciplined by the Stockholm Stock Exchange after breaking the rules of the Swedish market. The warning came as the bank hired a lawyer specialising in corporate governance litigation as its new vice-chairman.

The Swedish exchange, OMX, found that Citigroup's capital markets arm breached rules stating that a party which acquires 5% or more of a company's shares must disclose the acquisition.
