Citigroup faces €30m loss on Infineon trade

Citigroup is understood be sitting on a loss of around €30m ($38m) after attempting to sell 150 million shares in Infineon Technologies, the German semiconductor manufacturer.

Citigroup was forced to cut the price of the sale from between €12 and €12.25 to between €11.75 to €12.0 on Monday but could only place shares at the bottom of the revised range.
