Nick Jacobson, head of European and Asian real estate investment banking at Deutsche Bank, is joining Citigroup as head of European real estate investment banking.

Jacobson has been at Deutsche Bank for four years. He co-advised E.ON, the German utility, on its €7bn ($8.4bn) sale of private housing company Viterra to Terra Firma, the UK private equity group, last year.
