Citigroup settles mutual fund charges for $208m

Citigroup last night agreed to pay $208m (€169m) to settle claims by US regulators that it kept fees which should have been passed on to its mutual funds.

The settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission ends part of a probe the bank first disclosed in 2003.
