Citigroup is set to cut bonuses for top executives following fines for risk management lapses by US regulators last year.

The US bank will cut variable payments for the 15-strong executive management team including its outgoing chief executive Michael Corbat, Bloomberg reported citing people familiar with the matter. The cuts will vary and need to be decided by the bank's board, depending on the structure of their compensation, it said.
