Citigroup's Leman to head SunGard's Brass

James Leman, one of the founders of the securities industry's standard messaging system, has left his role as a managing director at Citigroup to be president of the order management systems division of SunGard, the US-based software provider.

Leman joins from Citigroup Global Markets where he had been managing director of global equity customer electronic trading and connectivity since 1992. He previously worked at Salomon Brothers as vice president of equity trade support and held supervisory roles at the New York Stock Exchange.
