London’s City Airport was evacuated on Friday evening following a fire alarm. Passengers have been urged to check with their airlines for flight information.

The airport, which serves as a hub for Canary Wharf and the City, tweeted from its official Twitter account around 5pm local time that the terminal had been evacuated following and alarm and that the cause was being investigated. Updates, it said, would follow.
