The City of London’s job market slowed in April, with the number of new jobs falling by more than a fifth compared with last year.

There were 8,070 jobs new to the market in the financial services in London in April, according to figures released on May 16 by recruiter Morgan McKinley. While that was a slight uptick on March's figures, it was 22% down on one year ago.
