The City of London Corporation launched a new culture and commerce taskforce, focused on saving the Covid-battered Square Mile, as the UK battles to contain a second wave of the pandemic.
The group, to be be chaired by the Lord Mayor of the City of London William Russell, has been set up to tackle the "cultural catastrophe", caused by Covid-19 and faced by the creative sector both in the City and across London, a statement from the Corporation said today.
