The City's main lobby group has called for an open-door immigration policy for the UK in the wake of Brexit — warning that the end of free movement for workers could quadruple the cost of hiring foreign staff.
In a report published on Monday in partnership with EY, TheCityUK looked at the immigration needs of the financial and related professional services industries, which employ 2.3 million people across the country.
