The City of London plans to double its Brussels-based workforce in a bid to "gather intelligence" from the European Union's Brexit taskforce and to ensure that business voices are heard at the most senior levels during negotiations.

The City of London Corporation is now set to grow its Brussels team from three to six, according to a person familiar with the plans – a move that an internal document seen by Financial News said reflected "feedback from across the City".
