Contactless card-payment points have sprung up around some of the Square Mile’s best-known institutions and tourist hotspots in a bid to make it easier for people to donate to the rising number of rough sleepers in the area.
The four donation points, located at St Paul’s Churchyard, the Barbican library, Guildhall and Tower Bridge, are part of the Tap for Change initiative run by the City of London Corporation to help tackle homelessness in the capital.
