Senior men working in finance are being called on to lead by example and take up flexible working, as part of a series of measures put forward by MPs to help more women move up the ranks in the City.

The report on Women in Finance, published on Wednesday by the influential Treasury Committee, follows a series of evidence sessions in which Nicky Morgan, who chairs the group, and other MPs heard about the barriers to females entering and progressing in financial services.
