A startling 40% of UK brokers have no idea how the merger of the London Stock Exchange and the Deutsche Börse will affect clearing systems for international equities.

The result comes from a survey by broking software supplier TCA Synergo, of 68 UK settlement and operations managers at private client and institutional brokers.
