Barclays Capital has appointed Clifford Chance to act on CVC Capital Partners and Cinven's acquisition of forestry group AssiDoman's box-making unit, suggesting an end to Barclays' banking relationship with Weil Gotshal & Manges.

On the purchase by Kappa Alpha Holdings of AssiDoman's Kappa, Clifford Chance finance partner Mark Campbell is advising Barclays Capital in its capacity as lead book runner and sole underwriter on senior and mezzanine debt.
