Clifford Chance’s best-paid partner took home £4.9m last financial year as the legal giant delivered record financial performance.

Profit paid out to the firm’s top earner jumped more than 50% to £4.9m for the year ended 30 April 2022, up from £3.2m the previous financial year, the firm’s latest accounts show.
