CME appoints director for M&A

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the largest futures exchange in the US, has hired Andrew Greta from General Electric to serve as its director of business development. His task is to identify new partnerships and potential acquisitions for the exchange.

His appointment comes at a time of consolidation among the world's major exchanges.
