Commerzbank Securities, the investment banking division of Commerzbank, has made four new hires as part of an ongoing effort to build up its New York team.

Jesse Shefferman will take up the position of senior salesperson for pan-European equity sales, reporting to Nick Hiley, head of brokerage. Shefferman will be responsible for sales to institutional clients, especially in the Boston area. He was previously based in Boston at Salomon Smith Barney where he was vice president of European equity sales and has also worked at Credit Suisse First Boston in Houston and London.
