Commerzbank looks set to name Nicholas Teller, an existing board member in charge of corporate clients, as its new head of investment banking. The appointment will bring the two businesses closer together.

The German bank, which has been conducting a strategic review of its business, last week delayed publication of the report and its third quarter results until November 9. Both were due out tomorrow.
