Consultant attacks FRS17 accounting volatility

LCP names FTSE 100 companies most at risk

The high volatility injected into company accounts by the UK's new accounting standard may lead to meaningless figures and information, according to Lane Clark & Peacock (LCP).

The FRS17 accounting standard was introduced in the UK in 2000 to include pension fund assets in a company's accounts.
