Consulting job vacancies rise 18% as redundancies ‘bottom out’

The consulting job market in London has shown ‘clear signs of stabilisation’ in the first half of 2025, new data suggests

Accounting and consulting jobs have jumped by 18% in the first six months of 2025 as the recruitment market has stabilised after a sustained period of job cuts from Big Four firms.

A total of 3,928 vacancies were posted by accounting and consulting firms during the period, according to a report by recruitment firm Morgan McKinley and data provider Vacancysoft. With 772 open roles, June was the standout month.
