Coutts fined for control failures

Coutts & Co, bankers to the Queen, has had to fork out £313,000 for failing to act with due skill, care and diligence in administering Personal Equity Plans (PEPs).

The Investment Management Regulatory Organisation (Imro) fined Coutts £50,000 and passed on costs of £32,000.
