London hedge fund CQS has appointed the chief executive of storied US investment house Rockefeller & Co and former economic adviser to US President George W Bush to its board.

Jeffery Reuben III has joined the $15bn hedge fund firm, which is led by Sir Michael Hintze, as a non-executive director, according to filings with the UK's Companies House.
