Crédit Agricole breaks into ETFs and hedge funds

France's Crédit Agricole has set up a joint venture between its fund management and investment banking divisions to sell exchange-traded and hedge funds to corporate and institutional clients.

The new venture, Crédit Agricole Structured Asset Management, becomes the largest seller of so-called structured fund products in France.
