Crédit Agricole launches flotation

Crédit Agricole, the French bank, has started bookbuilding for its initial public offering, in the largest offer in France this year since the flotation of Orange, France Télécom's mobile arm, in February.

Crédit Agricole is leading the deal, with ABN Amro Rothschild, Morgan Stanley and Crédit Agricole Indosuez Lazard as lead managers.
