In a further boost to its European institutional marketing team, Credit Suisse Asset Management has appointed Simon Boote as a managing director and head of institutional marketing for Europe, excluding Switzerland.

Boote will be based in London in this newly-created post, and will report to Joseph Gallagher, European chief executive, and Robert Parker and Tim Taussig, the global heads of institutional marketing.
