Credit Suisse attracts Temasek and Southeast Asia boost

Strategic investors from Southeast Asia support new capital raising at Swiss bank, as chief executive Brady Dougan brings forward the group's second-quarter results

Singapore government fund Temasek and a group of Southeast Asian strategic investors are to invest in European bank Credit Suisse, as the bank looks to boost its core-capital after concerns from the Swiss National Bank.

The Swiss bank announced Sfr15.3bn ($15.65bn) of capital raising measures, including Sfr3.8bn of mandatory and contingent convertible securities, as it pushed out second-quarter results one week earlier than expected.
