Credit Suisse is losing one of its most experienced advisers in Europe with Christopher Williams agreeing to join boutique Perella Weinberg, according to people familiar with the matter.

Williams is vice chairman of the global financial institutions group at Credit Suisse, which he joined in 2009 as vice chairman of investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to this he worked at Citigroup where he was an adviser to the UK government.
