Credit Suisse Group has hired a new head of market risk management from hedge fund Moore Capital for the investment bank's fund of hedge funds unit at Credit Suisse Asset Management.

Jeffrey Halpern joined CSAM earlier this month and is based in New York. He reports to Christof Schmidhuber, head of risk management for multi-manager portfolios.
