Credit Suisse could be facing a major shareholder rebellion on its bosses' pay later this month, after influential voting advisers ISS joined a gathering protest.
ISS took aim at the Swiss bank over its 2016 pay packets for board executives - 26 million Swiss francs in total, including a Sfr4.2 million bonus for chief executive Tidjane Thiam - at a time when Credit Suisse posted a second annual net loss and paid a $5.3 billion fine to the US Department of Justice over the mis-selling of mortgage-backed securities.
