Credit Suisse named new co-heads of its financial institutions group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, following the departure of a number of senior dealmakers to rivals in recent months.
Israel Fernandez is set to join the Swiss bank as co-head of the Emea financial institutions group from Deutsche Bank, according to a memo seen by Financial News and confirmed by a spokesperson. He will lead the unit alongside Julien Lamm. Lamm, who has worked at Credit Suisse since 2015, was promoted to the co-head role.
