Credit Suisse has put forward a former UBS executive to join its board and head its risk committee, as the Swiss bank continues to grapple with the fallout from the Archegos blowup and Greensill scandal.
Credit Suisse said in a statement on 13 August that it wants to appoint Axel Lehmann to its board in October, following approval from shareholders. He will replace Richard Meddings, who has been in the role on an interim basis since the departure of Andreas Gottschling in April.
