Credit Suisse has told London investment bankers that it will cut 80 roles from the end of July as the Swiss bank kicks off what are expected to be deep layoffs.

The Swiss bank, which is in the process of integrating its business with UBS, plans to axe 80 of around 260 London investment banking staff, according to people familiar with the matter, or around 30% of employees.
