Credit Suisse’s European M&A head Mansfield to join Deutsche Bank

The Swiss bank has lost a number of senior dealmakers since the takeover by UBS was announced in March

Credit Suisse's head of M&A for Europe, the Middle East and Africa is joining Deutsche Bank, just weeks after being handed a bigger role at the Swiss bank.

William Mansfield, a 27-year veteran of Credit Suisse, is set to join the lender in a senior position, according to people familiar with the matter. He will become chair of M&A for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Deutsche Bank, the people added.
