The property executive behind the £850m land acquisition programme for London's Crossrail, or Elizabeth line, has taken a new consultancy role as the £14.8bn infrastructure project nears completion.

Ian Lindsay finished as Crossrail's land and property director at the end of March, he told Financial News, and is now working in the compulsory purchase division of Aspire, a consultancy that advises developers on land acquisitions and other aspects of their projects.
