Credit Suisse Asset Management has appointed a head of global equities who will be responsible for Sfr3.7bn (€2.3bn) of assets.

Yong-Moon Kim will head up a team of four lead and two assistant portfolio managers based in Zurich who are in charge of client funds invested in the firm's global equities strategy. He will also work on growing the business and product range, and will report to Kim Goodwin, head of equities.
