Credit Suisse First Boston and Morgan Stanley are teaming up on a European initial public offering for the third time this year after being appointed to advise on the $1bn (€810m) flotation of Sistema, the Russian conglomerate.

The two banks were also joint bookrunners for the $1.9bn US flotation of Google, the internet search company, in August.
