Credit Suisse First Boston has appointed Simon Meadows and Guglielmo Sartori di Borgoricco as co-heads of European fixed income distribution following the departure of John Zafiriou.

Zafiriou, who ran European fixed income coverage and origination at CSFB, joined a fast-growing list of senior investment bankers to take time out of the industry when he took an indefinite leave of absence at the start of April. He is expected to rejoin the bank in the future in a different role.
