Credit Suisse First Boston has expanded its equity derivatives business with the appotinment of two senior strategists in London and New York.

The firm has appointed Philipp Kauer as head of European derivatives strategy in London, and Steve Kim from Merrill Lynch to head its North American equity derivatives and quantitative strategy team.
