CSFB hires Citigroup's Yastine as CFO

Credit Suisse First Boston has filled its vacancy for a chief financial officer by recruiting Barbara Yastine, formerly chief financial officer of Citigroup's global corporate and investment bank.

She replaces Richard Thornburgh, who was promoted in August to chief risk officer for Credit Suisse Group. Yastine will report to John Mack, chief executive, and will also become a member of CSFB's operating committee and executive board.
