Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) has hired Sean Faughnan, Eiji Aono and Kulbinder Garcha from Goldman Sachs to lead its equity research coverage of the European telecom equipment sector.

Faughnan joins the firm as a managing director, with nine years' experience covering the telecom equipment sector. Goldman poached both Faughan and Aono from JP Morgan in February 2000.
