Mark Manson, deputy global head of equity research at Credit Suisse First Boston, has joined Thomas Weisel Partners, the US merchant bank.

He switches to Thomas Weisel as director of research and co-head of east coast operations in the US alongside Bob Kitts, a partner at the firm.
