Joe Roby, chairman of Credit Suisse First Boston, the investment bank, will step down from his role as chairman, as part of the firm's latest reshuffle since John Mack became chief executive in July last year.
He will now become chairman emeritus and senior advisor at CSFB. He will remain on the CSFB's executive board, and "will devote a major part of his time to the firm's client development activities," said CSFB in a statement. No replacement has been announced.
